Replacing the drive shaft



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car and fix on support.
2. Drain the oil from the gearbox.
3. Remove the wheel.
4. Fold back and loosen the shoulder, but not remove, the nut of the drive shaft to the hub.

A warning

When loosening the nuts of the drive shaft to a nave press the brake pedal to prevent the rotation of the wheel and the drive shaft.


5. Remove the nuts longitudinal rod front suspension.
6. Turn out a coupling bolt of a ball joint to the steering knuckle.
7. mount wring out the bottom lever downwards and separate a pin of the hinge from a rotary fist.

A warning

Do not damage the protective cover of the ball joint.


8. Remove the earring stabilizer bar from the lower control arm front suspension.
9. Insert mount between an internal SHRUS drive shaft and a transmission and easy blow on mount take a power shaft from a transmission.

A warning

If you remove the drive shaft of the transmission is not immediately made great efforts and these efforts gradually increase.


10. Loosen the nut of the drive shaft to the front wheel hub.
11. Remove the drive shaft from the front wheel hub.

A warning

If you remove the drive shaft, be careful not to damage the oil sealing ring.

If the drive shaft is firmly seated in the hub of the front wheel, spray impregnation spray solvent on the area of the splines and then re-screw the nut with flange so that it is flush with the end of the shaft. Striking on a nut a brass hammer, beat out a power shaft from a nave.


12. Remove the drive shaft from the gearbox. Remove the retaining ring from the inner CV joint driveshaft.
13. Install the drive shaft instead of a special plug OK130 111 002 in order not to have shifted differential side gears.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a new lock ring on the internal end of the drive shaft.
2. Lubricate the end of the drive shaft installed in the gearbox.
3. push insert the drive shaft in the gearbox, with the cut of a lock ring should settle down from above.

A warning

Do not damage the protective cover SHRUS and oil sealing ring during installation of the drive shaft in the gearbox.


4. Grease the end of the drive shaft installed in the front wheel hub.
5. Insert the drive shaft to the front wheel hub.

A warning

When installing the drive shaft in the hub of the front wheel not to damage the oil sealing ring.


6. From the hand screw nut of the drive shaft to the front wheel hub.
7. Establish pins of spherical hinges of the bottom lever in a rotary fist.

A warning

Do not damage the protective cover of the ball joint.


8. Insert the bolt and screw nut trunnion ball joint of the lower arm front suspension.

Torque: 54-68 N ??? m

9. Tighten the nut with flange mounting of the drive shaft and the hammer in a nut fillet into the groove of the drive shaft.

Torque: 157-234 N ??? m

10. Freely screw nuts earring of the stabilizer. Finally, tighten the nuts on the car standing on wheels.

Torque: 43-60,8 N ??? m

11. Install a longitudinal rod front suspension and fix a nut, having tightened its demanded moment.

Torque: 118-147 N ??? m

12. Install the front wheel.

A warning

After installation, pull out the drive shaft and make sure that it is securely locking ring.

Do not hammer in a nut fillet into the groove of the drive shaft with a sharp instrument. Make sure that the front wheel turns easily by hand.


13. Fill the gearbox.
