Replacing the heat sink cooling system
Radiator be replaced when it detects a leak of the coolant.
A WARNING Remove the radiator on a cold engine only. |
You will need: the key "10", pliers, flat-blade screwdriver. 1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?-? the storage battery. |
| | 5. Remove the surge tank hose from the radiator pipe. | 6. Loosen the hose clamp to the radiator pipe clenched his pliers bent tabs, slide the clamp on a hose ... |
| 7. ... and remove the hose from the pipe. |
| 9. Similarly disconnect the hose from the bottom tank of the radiator pipe. |
NOTE So arranged the bolts of the upper radiator support to the upper cross frame radiator. |
| | 10. Remove the bolt of the upper radiator support to the upper cross frame radiator ... | 11. ... and remove the top support. |
12. Similarly remove the second upper radiator support. |
| 13. Remove the radiator from the engine compartment. |
NOTE On the lower radiator tank pins put on rubber pads of the lower legs, arms installed in the holes at the bottom of the cross bar frame radiator. Remove them with a pin ... ... or remove the cross arms, if they remained in the holes, and check. Highly crimped or hardened, replace the cushions. |
14. Inspect the upper radiator support cushion. Strongly deformed or hardened, replace the cushions. |
15. Clean the outside of the radiator with water jet and dry. If plastic radiator tank is cracked, replace the radiator. |
16. Check the tightness of the radiator, which muffle his connections, bring him to the air pressure of 0.1 MPa (1 kg / s m 2), and lower in the bowl of water for at least 30 seconds. Leaking radiator is determined by the emerging air bubbles. If the radiator does not fit entirely into the container, check it consistently from all sides. |
17. Install electric fans and cooling radiator in the reverse order of removal. |
HELPFUL ADVICE To further exclude the possibility of leakage of the coolant, before installing grease fittings radiator hose with a thin layer of silicone sealant. |
