Adjusting drive clutch
Drive clutch clearance-free, ie, clutch is constantly pressed against the diaphragm spring. Wear linings slave drive is compensated by a special device in the form of a conical spring mounted in the working cylinder and the drive cylinder moves the piston into a new initial position as the wear lining. A clear job serviceable drive clutch ensures the correct installation of the starting clutch pedal. You will need: the keys "6", "12" line. | 1. Measure the distance from the pad pedal pad to the floor without pressing the pedal. This distance should be 199-207 mm. |
2. Check the clearance between the pusher and the piston of the master cylinder for the value of the backlash clutch pedal, which move the pedal arm until you stop moving the pedals without resistance. Determine line of play, he should be 1-3 mm. |
NOTE In the complete absence of the gap between the plunger and the piston of the master cylinder may include incomplete clutch (clutch "slips"). |
| 3. If the distance from the site of a pedal to the floor and play the pedals do not comply with the specified values, adjust the length of the master cylinder pushrod. The key and loosen the lock nut on the stem and rotate the stem key used in the right direction, screwing it into the plug stem or twisting out of it until the required pedal position and its backlash. Tighten the lock nut. |
NOTE For clarity, the work is shown in the clutch master cylinder removed. |
A WARNING When adjusting the length of the rod, take care that the pushrod is not shifted in the direction of the main cylinder drive clutch. |
4. Check the clutch pedal free play, which, by the play pedal (see. P. 2), move the pedal further until a sizeable increase in the resistance movement. Determine line of a free wheeling, it must be 4-13 mm. |
5. Press the pedal to stop. This emphasis on the plastic pedal must be in touch with the buffer bulkhead body, and covers the distance from the floor pedal pad should be (20 ? 2) mm. |
NOTE If the pedal is pressed to the full its emphasis not in contact with the buffer in the bulkhead, it indicates the excessive length of the master cylinder pushrod. Typically, the distance the pedal to the floor is higher than the nominal, and there is no backlash pedal. In this case, repeat the adjustment. |
