Replacement and service of spark plugs
According to the recommendations of the manufacturer conventional spark plugs need to be replaced every 45 000 km or 2 years whichever is the sooner. Candles with platinum or iridium-coated electrode should be replaced every 60 000 km or 4 years. Recommended by the types of plugs and gaps between the electrodes are shown in Table. 13.3 and Annex 4. You need a special key "16" to invert the spark plugs.
NOTE The key must be provided with a rubber grommet to hold a candle, or you will not be able to remove the candle from the candle well. |

4. Clean the spark plug of dirt, rinse and dry in gasoline. |
A WARNING Candles with platinum or iridium coated electrodes can not be cleaned with a stiff brush to avoid the appearance on the soft surface of the electrodes scratches provoking soot deposits. |
| | 5. Check the circular probe electrode gap (see. Appendix 4). | 6. If the backlash differs from specified, adjust it, bending the side electrode. |
A WARNING Adjust the gap only podgibaniem side electrode. Any bending of the center electrode will damage the insulator of a candle. |
7. When installing the spark plug wrap them first hand (without knob) and then tighten the key. Do not exceed the torque specified in Annex 1. |
