Removing and installing steering wheel

You will need: Phillips screwdriver with a blade face head "19" knob, extension.

1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery.


2. Remove the airbag (see. "Removing and installing driver's airbag").	3. Loosen the nut on the steering wheel.

HELPFUL HINTS

The steering wheel is very tight on the shaft splines, so do not remove the wheel nuts completely: the sudden shock when removing the steering wheel jumped off the slots may cause injury. For convenience, the reverse installation ...

... Mark the position of the steering wheel relative to the shaft.

Lock the steering wheel from turning, you can use the locking mechanism of the protective device ignition. To do this, remove the key from the ignition and turn the steering wheel until the fixing shaft anti-theft device. After loosening the nuts of the steering wheel, disconnect the protective device by inserting the key into the ignition, and reinstall the steering wheel straight.


4. The sharp punches to knock the steering wheel shaft splines. Finally, unscrew the nut, remove the washer ...	5. ... and remove the steering wheel.

6. Install the steering wheel and the removed parts in reverse order of removal.
