Cylinder block
Technological features of the new cylinder is that it is cast from an aluminum alloy installed inside the housing with cast iron cylinder liners. This improves heat transfer and reduces its mass. Cylinder liner - Thin thus bore is not possible. In addition, as already mentioned, the cylinder block is provided with a long skirt piston and integrated main bearing caps. The water jacket of the cylinder - a closed type, which increases zheskost and helps to reduce vibration and noise. Cover separator cylinder is located on the opposite side of the inlet. Crankcase ventilation valve and oil separator with an adapter for the installation of ventilation valve improve the efficiency of ventilation of crankcase gases.

The new engine block is not used installation keys bearing crank journals. Cylinder head bolts are torque in the zone of plasticity tightening is carried out in five stages. This provides stability when fastening the bolt axis (Fig. 2.6).

Process hole for installing a special device used for detecting the position of the TDC of the first cylinder is located on the right side of the cylinder block. TDC is determined by the touch-edge special tool rocker of the first cylinder (Fig. 2.7).
