The valve mechanism of the engine of Mazda 3

Each cylinder has two inlet and two outlet channel. 16 valve directly driven by two camshafts. On engines of model L3 uses variable valve timing mechanism, which provides the best moment of opening or closing the valve, depending on the traffic conditions are constantly changing phase of inlet channels (Fig. 2.20).
