Install the oil pump

Install the oil pump gasket to the oil pump (Fig. 2.296).
Install the oil pump gasket on the engine.
Add a liquid in the engine cooling system.
Start the engine and check for oil leaks.
If there is an oil leak, identify the faulty element, and repair or replace it.
Check the oil pressure.
Check the oil level.
Check the ignition timing and engine speed to idle.
