Removal and installation of a lantern of illumination of license plate
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the diffuser, then remove the lamp license plate light (fig. 7.38). Remove the license plate light to the rear bumper. Remove the trim from the rear of the trunk. Remove attachment and slightly bend the back cover side of the trunk. (right) Remove attachment and slightly bend the back cover side of the trunk. (left) (<sedan>) Remove the service hole cover. (left) (<hatch>) Remove the rear combination lamp.

Disconnect connector license plate light (fig. 7.39). Remove the rear bumper. Separate the clips from the rear bumper. Remove the harness license plate light and tape. Install in the reverse order of removal.
