Check the clearance in the bearing rear wheel hub



Remove the rear wheel.
Disconnect the front caliper disc brake.

Remove the brake disk (Fig. 3.117).

Check the clearance in the bearing rear wheel hub

Set the dial gauge against the hub (Fig. 3.118).
By moving the wheel hub by hand in the axial direction, measure the clearance in the bearing hub.
Maximum: 0.05 mm.
If the clearance exceeds the maximum, replace the bearing.

ATTENTION
Performing the following procedures without first removing the wheel speed sensor anti-lock brake system can lead to chain termination in the harness if the harness is stretched by mistake. Before performing the following operations remove the wheel speed sensor anti-lock brake system (from the body) and fasten it in a suitable place where the sensor is accidentally damaged during maintenance.
