Overview
The lubrication system is operated under pressure, the oil passes through the oil filter. At Mazda engines installed an environmentally friendly oil filter with replaceable filter element. Lubrication system - with full-flow oil purification and supply of pressurized oil to the main moving parts and engine parts. The system consists of the oil sump, gear oil pump suction tubes, mesh full flow oil filter, oil pressure and oil valves. The oil pump draws oil from the sump and feeds it to the oil filter. On the discharge side of the oil pump relief valve is located. At too high an oil pressure valve opens and part of the oil flows back into the sump. Through the middle of the oil filter cartridge clean oil enters the main oil highway. When blockage of the filter bypass valve disposed in the housing of the oil filter, oil supplies are not filtered directly into the main oil highway. The pipe of the oil filter is a check valve that prevents the devastation of oil channels and hydraulic valve lifters engine. From the main oil line depart channels for lubrication of the bearings of the crankshaft. Through inclined holes in the crankshaft oil is supplied to the connecting rod bearings, and then sprayed onto the piston pins and cylinders. Simultaneously uplink oil is fed into the cylinder head and lubricates the bearings of a camshaft and the work of the hydraulic tappets. Pallet sump is made of a multilayer steel with a high damping factor. On the LF engine and L3 is also installed with a water cooler masloohlazhdeniem.

ATTENTION On vehicles equipped with engines with a catalytic converter, it must be ensured that the oil level on the dipstick oil level was above the level of the maximum. If the car with a catalytic converter was flooded with too much oil, the excess part of it should be removed from the crankcase through the suction or discharge (special vacuum pump), otherwise unburnt oil will penetrate into the exhaust system and can destroy the catalytic converter. |
