Preliminary check of the connecting shaft



Make sure that the connecting shaft is not twisted and has no cracks.

Check the connecting shaft

Turn the connecting shaft by hand and check for smooth rotation of the bearing (Fig. 3.125).
Replace the shaft if necessary.

ATTENTION
Performing the following procedures without first removing the wheel speed sensor anti-lock brake system can lead to chain termination in the harness if the harness is stretched by mistake. Before performing the following operations remove the wheel speed sensor anti-lock brake system (from the body) and fasten it in a suitable place where the sensor is accidentally damaged during maintenance.
