Setting
ATTENTION Apply silicone sealant without breaks around the perimeter. Install the oil pan within 5 minutes after applying sealant kremnievoorganicheskogo. |
Using bolts residues sealing material can lead to cracking in the case (Fig. 2.292). Thoroughly clean and remove oil, dirt, packing material or other impurities that may remain on the case and oil pan. When reusing the oil pan mounting bolts, remove the remnants of the old sealant from bolts.

Apply silicone sealant in the areas shown in the figure (Fig. 2.293). Thickness of sealant bead: 2.0-6.0 mm

The inhaling moment: 7,8-10,8 Nm. Top up engine oil. Start the engine and check for oil leaks. If there is oil leakage, find the cause and repair or replace the faulty item. Check the oil level. Install the bottom cover.
