Withdrawal



Remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the drive belt.
Fix the crankshaft pulley using special devices.
Remove the bolt crankshaft pulley.
Cut away the knife edge of the gland working.

Remove the oil seal using a flat-blade screwdriver wrapped with a cloth to prevent damage to the crankshaft oil seal (Fig. 2.278).
