Inspection, removal and installation of a brake disk
| - Remove the caliper (see. Removing, dismantling and installation of the brake caliper), but without disconnecting the hose, put it next to the stand.
- Spend a disk fault detection, deep bullies are not allowed and the disc requires treatment.
- Make sure that the thickness of the disc corresponds to the requirements of operation.
- Check the disc runout, which should not exceed 0.12 mm.
- If necessary, remove the front wheel hub (see. Removal, installation and adjustment of the hub and front wheel bearings).
- Screw the two screws into the hub and tighten the knot in the grip of the brake disc up.
- Socket wrench, unscrew the bolts and separate the brake disc from the hub.
 | Before installing, clean the mating surfaces. New wheels are corrosion-resistant paint that before installing the drive must be removed with solvent. |
- Install the new (restored) disk on the hub uniformly tighten the new bolts.
- Install the hub and the brake bracket (see. Removal, installation and adjustment of the hub and front wheel bearings and removal, dismantling and installation of the brake caliper).
