The ignition switch and key are part of the anti-theft steering lock mechanism. The key has the following positions: ?LOCK? - position when the car is parked. The key can be removed from the lock only in this position. When the key is removed locks the steering mechanism, which requires a slightly rock steering wheel to the right and to the left until it clicks, indicating that worked locking device. It does not remove the key while driving. This will lead to wheel lock, which can cause loss of control and, therefore, a serious accident. To unlock the steering Insert the key into the lock and turn it to the right while rotating towards the steering wheel; "ACC" - In this position the power is supplied to the auxiliary devices such as car, whereas, when the engine is not running; ?ON? - working position: the ignition is switched (for petrol engines) or devices and preheating (for diesel engines); ?START? - when the key is turned to this position starts the starter. To stop the engine switch should be set to "ACC". On cars with petrol engines used ignition system NATS V2.0. When you try to start the engine without the aid of this key is activated anti-theft device, which "suppresses" the engine.
