WARNINGS 1. Do not increase the engine speed to idle. This can lead to a sudden onset of motion of the machine, if the selector lever is in position ?D?, ?R?, ?2" or "1", or damage to the engine if it is in position ?N? or "P". 2. On models with selector lever lock button, to move from the position "P" on any transfer movement, press the brake pedal. The locking mechanism is activated only when the ignition key, or switch devices and the starter is in the ?ON?. 3. Be especially careful when changing gear (both front and reverse) as long as the engine is warm, as the idling speed at cold engine is higher than that of the heated. 4. When you stop the car on the lift to press the brake pedal, switching pre-selector in position ?N?, to keep the car on the spot and prevent transmission from overheating. |
