Disconnect a wire from "the minus" plug of the storage battery. Disconnect the high-voltage spark, and release them from the bracket located on the cylinder head cover (Fig. 2.36, 2.37). Remove the clamps and disconnect hose breather crankcase ventilation on the back side of the cover (Fig. 2.38, 2.39). Loosen the hose clamps and disconnect the hose from the oil separator nipple located on the cover and the hose from the fitting at the base of the separator. Remove the bolts and remove the oil separator with the front of the cylinder head. Remove in the reverse order shown on Fig. 2.40, nuts and remove the cylinder head cover together with the washers. Remove the cover.
Remove the cover gasket and remove the seals from the spark plug and center pin on the cylinder head cover.

The application of sealant on the semi-circular recess in the cylinder head installing the cylinder head cover
Fig. 2.41. The application of sealant on the semi-circular recess in the cylinder head installing the cylinder head cover

Before installation, carefully clean the mating surfaces of the cylinder head cover and remove traces of oil. Apply a layer of sealant to the surface of the three semi-circular recesses of the cylinder head (Fig. 2.41). Install the rubber gasket into the groove cylinder head cover, make sure that it is properly laid over the entire length. Replace the four O-rings in the holes for the high voltage and the ring in the hole of the central pin. If necessary, the sealing ring can be fixed in its position via a sealant.
Apply a layer of sealant width of about 1 cm to lay cylinder head cover on the edges of the openings of the bearing cover on the left side exhaust camshaft. Carefully place the cylinder head cover to the engine, taking care not to move the gasket and O-rings. Be sure to position the cylinder head cover, install the rubber rings on the studs, washers and nuts.
After installing the cylinder head cover lightly tighten the central nut 1 (see. Fig. 2.40) and the four corner screws in the following order: 10, 11, 13 and 8. Then tighten all other nuts specified torque. Perform further operations in the reverse order of removal.
