By car use single-plate dry clutch with a central diaphragm compression spring. Cars with petrol engines are equipped with a mechanical clutch (rope) drive cars with a diesel engine - clutch with hydraulic drive. The slave drive has a built-in vibration damper (damper). Clutch ball, self-centering. Clutch parts are shown in Fig. 4.1 and 4.2. Friction characteristics are given in Table. 4.1.
