Removing and installing strut front suspension

Lift the front of the car, set on the stand, remove the wheel. Remove the nuts securing the top support of a rack to a body (Fig. 5.4). Disconnect the brake hose clamp to the front suspension. Turn out two bolts of the lower mounting to the steering knuckle and remove them (Fig. 5.5). With the rack mount separate from the steering knuckle. Carefully remove the rack assembly through the arch of the wheel.

Location tags that should be directed toward the wheel

The installation of the rack spend in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that the label on the upper strut has been directed towards the wheel of a car (Fig. 5.6). The final tightening of threaded connections made after the lowering of the wheels on the ground.
