Replacing the brake pads

Replace the brake pads is made simultaneously on both the front wheels. Pads Use only the recommended mark. Lift the front of the car and put it on the stand. Remove the front-wheel drive, noting their position relative to the hub.

Evacuate the syringe of the brake fluid reservoir. Use a screwdriver to slightly drown the piston in the cylinder of a support. Remove the bolt of the lower finger support (Fig. 7.5), hold your finger with another key. Turn up the caliper and remove the brake pads (Fig. 7.6). Before installing the new brake pads, check: - The technical condition and the position of the piston cylinder dust cup; - The technical condition of the guide pin and protective covers (clean and grease guide bolts if necessary); - Brake fluid leaks; - The degree of wear of the brake disc and the condition of its surface. Move the piston as far as possible into the cylinder. Install the new brake pads and put in place a support. Tighten the bolt shot lower finger support and tighten the set moment. Follow the remaining operations in the reverse order of removal. Repeatedly press the brake pedal to the pistons in the brake cylinder in the working position. Top up the brake fluid level in the reservoir.
