Removal, dismantling, checking the condition and installation of rocker arm assembly and rod pushers

The design of the cylinder head does not allow withdrawal of pushers until until she will be removed and its head gasket. In view of the above procedure for removing pushers dealt with separately in the section on maintenance of a camshaft and pushers.

Removal and dismantling

Disconnect the negative wire from the battery. Remove the air cleaner assembly. To avoid falling into the carburetor debris and foreign objects, cover his neck cloth. Before assembly, lubricate abundantly countertops rocker axis and motor oil.
