Lubrication and maintenance
Checking and changing oil and lubricating fluids | - Roll the car on the overpass limber, stop the engine, cock a lay brake and block the front wheels with wedges.

- Install the drain container under the sump, remove the plug and drain the engine oil.
| Engine oil is best drained at normal operating temperature. However, care should be taken to avoid burns. Replace the plug and tighten it securely. Wipe the area around the plug. |
| Before screwing the drain plug tray, check the condition of its seal, if necessary, replace. |
| - If the oil filter must be replaced, remove it with a special key (see. Accompanying illustration) and empty into the drain capacitance. Lightly clean oil seal of the new filter, strip the seating surface on the engine block and replace the filter by hand, following the enclosed instructions.

| Before installing the new filter, make sure the old gasket is not glued to the surface of the block. If this happens, remove the old gasket. |
| - Turn flood / control plug from the crankcase Manual transmission, transfer case and differentials. Use your finger or a piece of bent wire, check oil levels in these units, - the level should reach the lower edge of the filler otverstiya.Esli level exceeds the norm, check for the presence of oil in it traces of water, drain the excess, if necessary, make zamenu.Esli level is insufficient, add using a syringe nipples using oil grades required.
Satisfied under the oil levels in all units of the regulatory requirements in place screw the filler plugs and tighten them firmly. Wipe the surface of the casings around traffic jams.

- Remove the cap from the hinge rod steering gear and screw holes in the grease nipples.
- Tamp the hinges of steering drafts and driveshafts special grease for chassis with a grease gun. Do not overdo it - make sure that did not happen to the displacement of its seat covers and gaskets.
- Remove the grease nipples and set into place in the hinge of steering bent stub.
| - Remove the bolt from the flange assemblies of each of the knuckle opening and probe length of wire for the presence of water in fist (see. Accompanying illustration).

| - Remove the oil from the bottom of the dome of the clutch (see. Accompanying illustration) and check the clutch to get into the water there. Install the cap, it is securely tightened.

- Using the funnel, pour the required amount of engine oil grades required. Start the engine off and wait until the oil pressure warning lamp, then re-plug the engine and, after a few minutes, check the oil level on the dipstick measurement. If necessary, add.
| In order to avoid overflow of the initial pour oil on the first half a liter less than the norm (see. Table sizes and adjustments in the end of this manual). Finally add after initial engine start. |
- Carefully inspect for any signs of leakage points of installation of the oil filter (if replaced) and the drain plug of the oil pan.
- Lower the car to the ground and check the units for leaks lubricant, making the sea trials.
