The power supply system of carburettor engines

The power supply system consists of a mechanical fuel pump, carburetor, air filter and connecting pipes. Together with the supply system operate various devices for adjusting the composition of the exhaust gases. This is especially true for cars with a catalyst, which, among other things, set: return valve exhaust gas control switch of the mixture, the valve air inlet oxygen sensor, a switch to increase the number of idle speed and other elements to better control emissions .

The fuel pump operates an eccentric on one of the camshafts. Pump lever adjacent to the exciter and thereby moves inwardly and outwardly, while creating a pressure. Fuel is drawn from the tank through the filter cartridge. The tank is a float, which is a level sensor for fuel indicator on the dashboard. All motors equipped with a carburetor with a falling stream, which has two chambers and is provided with a home automation. Installed damper throttle valve, which prevents sudden closing of valve. Apparatus priotkryvaniya throttle second chamber actuated vacuum. Calibration data carburetor shown in the Specifications in the beginning of Chapter.
