Nissan Company was formed in 1925 as a result of the consolidation of the two companies - Kwaishinsha Co (produces cars Dat) and Jitsuo Jidosha Co and was called Dat Jidosha Seizo Co. First, the newly formed company produced all vehicles under the brand name Datsun. The first car was introduced in 1931 - Nissanocar (1934), a successful and cost-effective model. During World War II the company produced mainly trucks and other equipment for the army. After the occupation of the factories were shut down and ceased production before 1955.

The newly expanding production in 1960, the company first of all Japanese car manufacturers realized the benefits of the American and European market. Sports car Nissan Datsun 240 Z, designed for sale in the US in 1969, broke away in the first place in the ranking of sales in its class. In the late 1970s, Nissan took up the production of automobiles in the highest group of the middle class, and not forgetting about SUVs - Nissan Patrol is known in Russia as the "eternal jeep." Nissan has opened subsidiaries in the United States, Germany, Australia, Peru, Mexico.
