Removal of the exhaust system

Exhaust system of cars with engines ABU, AEA, ABD, AAM, 1Y includes a reception pipe, the catalyst (or the front silencer, depending on the version), intermediate (optional) and rear mufflers.
All other vehicles exhaust system consists of a receiving tube, the catalyst (or the front silencer, depending on the version), intermediate pipe, and additional rear mufflers. In cars with engines 1Y and AAZ at the end of the reception tryauby set flexible link. The car, which is not completed with a catalyst (with the engine 2E), equipped with an additional silencer is integral with the receiver tube.

Work on the removal of the entire exhaust system or any of its elements are held on a pit or hoist.
To remove a reception pipe, do the following:
- Remove the oxygen sensor;
- Disconnect the front pipe to the converter or an additional silencer. Remove the gasket;
- Disconnect the front pipe to the exhaust manifold. Remove the exhaust pipe and the gasket.
To remove the converter, do the following:
- Disconnect the front pipe to the converter. Remove the gasket;
- Disconnect and remove the converter mount converter.

A WARNING
On vehicles with engine ABD converter combined with a reception pipe and remove it together.

To remove the intermediate pipe, do the following:
- Disconnect mounting intermediate pipe and remove it.
To remove the back of the pipe, do the following:
- Disconnect the rear mounting of the pipe and remove it;
- Disconnect the exhaust pipe and the exhaust manifold;
- Disconnect the attachment of the exhaust system. Remove exhaust system.
To remove the insulation elements, do the following:
