Removing and installing thermostat engine cooling system according to the algorithm
Dismantling Remove the engine cover. With the ignition off, disconnect the battery ground cable from the battery. Remove the generator. Remove the air conditioning compressor from the bracket of additional units. Secure the wire on his body.
NOTE The refrigerant circuit is not open. |
Drain the coolant.
Remove the water hose 2, which remove the bracket 1 (Fig. 2.193).
1 Disconnect the plug and remove the engine cooling system thermostat (Fig. 2.195).
Installation Clean the seating surface of the sealing ring. Replace the O-ring and moisten it with coolant. Set the thermostat to the engine cooling system. Install the water hose 2, 1 mounting bracket should Fix. Establish an arm of additional units. Install the generator. Install the air conditioning compressor. Install poly V-belt. Fill the coolant.

NOTE Gaskets and O-rings should be replaced. |
Check the thermostat in the cold state. Large valve plate should the entire circumference tightly against the connecting flange (Fig. 2.196). If not, replace the engine cooling system thermostat. Connect the contacts of the thermostat the engine cooling system for supporting algorithm leads from auxiliary measuring set of tools with the battery. Hold clamp, lower it to the flange vertically in a pot of boiling coolant (mixing ratio 50% G12).
ATTENTION Do not touch the metal parts of the thermostat, as they are heated. |

Check whether achieved through the course of 10 minutes a minimum of 7 mm (Fig. 2.197). If the stroke is 7 mm, turn off the power from the battery.

If the minimum course is not reached, the thermostat, replace the engine cooling system.
