Removing and installing radiator fan and radiator fan 2 V177



Removing fans
Remove, if present, the engine cover.

Fixing the air intake hose

Remove the air intake hose from the radiator frame (Fig. 2.198).

Remove the upper mounting bracket bolts fans (Fig. 2.199).
Release lower water hose from the radiator.

Remove the air hose at the bottom of the expansion tank and remove it (Fig. 2.200).
Disconnect 1 connector and unscrew the screws fixing the lower air intake (Fig. 2.199).
Remove the fan bracket down.
Remove the plug 1 and release the wire.

Unscrew the nuts and remove the fan (Fig. 2.201).

Installing fans
Install in reverse order, with the following should be considered.
Install the fan bracket from below.

Tightening torques
The radiator fan to the bracket - 10 Nm.
Fan bracket to the radiator - 5 Nm.
