Check the functioning and power
Test conditions Minimum voltage on the battery should be 11.5 V. SD34 fuse in the fuse block on the right in front of the dlozhen be defective. The control unit of the fuel pump dlozhen be defective.
Engines with a letter designation BLR, BLX, BLY Fuel pressure sensor for low pressure dlozhen be defective.
NOTE The fuel pump is checked via diagnosis actuators. |
A. Connect the tester Plug the cable system diagnostics in the diagnostic connector in the area of the driver's feet. Switch on the ignition. The display turns should click on the field "Vehicle self-diagnosis", "01 - Engine electronics" and "03 - diagnostics of executive elements." Click on the display right arrow button and hold it until the "Diagnostics actuator electronics of the fuel pump." The fuel pump should then slowly increase the speed up to maximum speed. Switch off the ignition. If the fuel pump does not turn on, remove the bench seat.

Disconnect the connector of the fuel pump control unit (Fig. 2.204).
Check the power supply by means of the probe between terminal 1 and 6 (Fig. 2.206). The LED should light up. If the LED does not light, locate the open circuit on wiring and correct it. If the LED (Power OK), remove the fuel supply unit. Check if the electrical wires between flange and fuel pump. If disconnection is detected, the fuel pump is defective, replace the fuel supply unit.
