The principle of operation of the electronic throttle actuator With electronic accelerator throttle actuator is not controlled by the accelerator cable. Between the accelerator pedal and the throttle there is no mechanical connection. The position of the accelerator pedal is transmitted to the engine control unit through the two accelerator pedal position sensor (variable resistors, installed in one housing) that are associated with the accelerator pedal. Accelerator pedal position (depending on the actions of the driver) is the engine control unit for the main input value. The throttle valve controls the motor (servomotor throttle) control module throttle throughout the area of speed and load. The throttle actuator is driven by signals from the engine control unit. When the engine stopped and the ignition on, the engine control unit controls the throttle servo, exactly matching the data with the accelerator pedal position sensor. This means that when the accelerator pedal is half depressed, and the actuator is equally open throttle; In this case also the throttle is opened to about half. When the engine is running (under load) the engine control unit can open and close the throttle, regardless of the accelerator pedal position sensor. For example, the throttle valve may be already fully open, while the accelerator pedal is depressed only halfway. This gives the advantage of reducing the loss of throttling. The engine control unit, analyzing the amount of torque required for the various components (eg. Climate control, automatic transmission, ABS / ESP ..), calculated for a given situation the optimal throttle opening angle. In addition, under certain loads marked noticeably better performance on emissions and fuel consumption. "E-drive accelerator" is a system that contains all the necessary components for the task throttle, control and monitoring of it, for example, the accelerator pedal position sensors, throttle control module, the control lamp EPC, the engine control unit.
