Removal and installation of the accelerator pedal assembly



Removing the accelerator pedal assembly

Cover the steering column

Remove the cover of the steering column (Fig. 2.214).
Pry up the cover with a screwdriver.
Remove the retaining screw.

Insert as shown in Figure 2.215, all the way into the holes and remove the accelerator pedal assembly.
Disconnect the electrical connector and release the cable from the pedal assembly.

Insert tab of the guide wire 1 and 2 to connect the connector assembly of the accelerator pedal (Fig. 2.216).
Install the accelerator pedal mounting bolts 6.
Insert the centering pin 7 in the hole in the bottom.
Screw the accelerator pedal assembly bolt 3 with a torque of 10 Nm.
Push the cap 4.
Install the steering column trim.
