Fuel
General information Unleaded petrol must comply with DIN EN 228. If available, there is only fuel with lower octane number than that required for the engine, it is necessary to carry out the movement of the vehicle only with the average engine speed and reduced engine load. Large motor load due to the full pressing the accelerator pedal may damage the engine. As soon as it will be possible, you should immediately top up the fuel tank with enough gasoline octane. You can unlimited use gasoline with a higher octane number than that required for the engine. However, this does not give any gain in engine output audio or in fuel consumption.
ATTENTION Vehicles fitted with catalytic converter should only be operated with unleaded petrol. Only one tank filling with leaded petrol leads to a subsequent decrease in the efficiency of the catalytic converter. |
Gasoline additive Smoothness, power and durability of the engine to a great extent determined by the quality of fuel. Of particular importance here are mixed into the fuel additives (supplements). Therefore it is recommended to fill the car only a high-quality gasoline with additives. If there is no fuel available, or in the engine there are violations, it is necessary when refueling to mix him the necessary additives. These additives have anticorrosive purified part of the fuel system and remove various kinds of engine deposits. Not all additives available on the market, have proved to be quite effective. Shunt other gasoline additive should not be.
