Removal and installation of the stabilizer
Withdrawal Remove the front wheels. Unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the trim footwell of the driver.
Remove the bolt 1 and remove the universal joint 2 with a steering mechanism (Fig. 4.33). Remove the bottom screen proofing. Remove the connecting rods from stabilizer. Unscrew the nuts on the left and right sides of the vehicle. Loosen the nuts tips of steering drafts on both sides, but do not loosen. To protect the threads leave nut on a pin screwed several turns.

Extract the tie rod end from the wheel bearing housing using ball joint puller (Fig. 4.46). Secure the subframe with the consoles.

Remove the stabilizer from the subframe 11 and 14 (Fig. 4.44). Remove the rocker support with the gearbox for this unscrew bolts. Place the rack for the engine and gearbox under the subframe. Suppose, for example, a block of wood between the 1 stand for the engine and gearbox and subframe. Remove the screws 4 and 5, and a little lower subframe with the consoles (fig. 4.44). At the same time watch out for electrical wires. Slide the regulator to the right of the direction of travel.
Raise the stabilizer 1 forward through the subframe 2 and lower, while twisting slightly (Fig. 4.47).
Setting Installation is carried out in reverse order. Install the lower screen proofing.
NOTE Before installing the steering lubricate anti-friction seal means, for example pasty soap. After installing the steering shaft of the steering column, check the inflection of his seal in place fit for the mounting plate and correctly position seal the hole in the footwell. Otherwise, the possibility of penetration of water and / or noise. Keep the sealing surfaces. |
