Removal and installation of the water pump
Withdrawal Remove the front bumper. Result a radiator framework in service position. Install the crankshaft position of the dead point of the first cylinder check valve timing. Remove the vibration damper. Drain the coolant.
3 Remove the hose from the pipe cooling system. Remove the fastening screws 1 and 2 and fold forward pipe cooling system (Fig. 2.247). Remove the drain plug to drain the coolant. Remove the lid of the water pump.
Remove the mounting bolts of the water pump (Fig. 2.248) and remove the water pump.
NOTE If the bolts of the water pump is not available - set the vibration damper and turn the crankshaft by a counter support T10172 and bolt T10172 / 1 until the screws are accessible. |
Setting Install in reverse order, with the following should be considered: Coat the new O-ring with coolant, do not use other lubricants. Insert the water pump. Tighten mounting bolts (Fig. 2.248) water pump with a torque of 20 Nm + 1/4 about. (90 ?�).
Tighten the mounting bolts of the water pump cover in the sequence to 8 N ??? m (Fig. 2.249). Fill in cooling liquid.
