Replacing the brake pads of the front wheels
A WARNING Replace the brake pads before lining will be 2 mm thinner. |
Work performed in this order: a) remove the front brake pads: - Remove the hub cap and the wheel;

- Remove the screw 1 (Fig. 6.4) from the lower caliper guide pin 2; - Turn the 2 caliper up and remove the brake pads 3; - Remove the wear indicator.
A WARNING Do not press on the brake pedal when the brake pads are removed. |
b) clean and rotate the caliper: - Clean all contact surfaces of the brake caliper and brake pads with; - Check dirt-protecting sleeve piston. If Dirt cuff looks worn, replace it. However, if the cuff is damaged, dirt-protecting, and repair support.
