Repairing the rear ("sedan")
If repair rear "sedan" can be carried out the following work: 1) replacement of the outer wheel arch, including reinforcing element wheelhouse: - Cut out the damaged wheel arch and wheel arch reinforcement element; - Cut a replacement section; - Cut the outer arch of 15 cm above the fold; - Grind down to the bare metal and adjust the mating surfaces of wheel arches; - Apply a welding primer; - Secure the wheelhouse;

- Pre-cut section of the reinforcing element replaces the wheelhouse; - Moved using paint, apply a welding primer;

- Weld reinforcement element wheelhouse;

- Moved using spot welds up to the cross; - Moved using the welding point on the wheel arches and inner sidewalls of the body; - Cut the luggage compartment floor at a distance of approximately 20 mm behind the cross; - Cut down the floor with a chisel; - Grind down to the bare metal; - Apply a welding primer; - Set a new lap on the floor cross member; - Cut-lap on both panels together;

- Make a fitting assembly with the floor panel; - Ensure that the boundary dimensions of these parts are the same, without interference; - Tack welded side panel; - Remove the floor panel; - Weld side panel; - Remove the old spar;

- Set the floor panel; - Make sure that the new spar stands in its place; - Fix it tack; - Remove the floor panel; - Weld spar; - Secure the new luggage compartment floor;

- Weld luggage compartment floor side members to an electrical (Fig. 11.48). - Weld luggage compartment floor to the rear and to the lengthwise reinforcing element resistance spot welding;

3) replacement of the rear wing assembly (Fig. 11.49), as follows: - Measure replaces section; - Cut Label; - Moved using spot welds; - Adjust the mating surfaces; - Apply a welding primer; - Set (on non-back wing) gutter, the filler cap, striker plate; - To adjust the trunk lid; - Weld; - Cut out the damaged section; - Sand the mating surfaces to bare metal; - Pre-cut rear fender (which replaces section); - Set the rear wing on the car; - Hacksaw, cut the two panels where the joint should be located; - Remove the wing; - Apply a welding primer; - Put the rear wing; - Adjust, weld the tack; - Continuous weld seams; - Follow, wherever possible, the resistance spot welding; - Grind the weld; - Other body parts and panels are replaced in a similar way.
