These cars have three main relay unit (Fig. 10.1). In two of them (1 and 2) is fused. The first fuse / relay box is located in the engine compartment, and the second - under the dashboard, near the reception, and the third is mounted on the cross member under the dashboard. The latter two are always located on the driver side. Also, the system has a number of separate relays located at various points, for example, the relay automatically lower the window in the driver's door. In block 1 fuse / relay installed in the engine compartment, are the following components: 1) switch the engine management system; 2) compressor relay; 3) switch the engine cooling fan, controlled by the engine management system; 4) relays the engine cooling fan, controlled via the air conditioning system; 5) The motor relay condenser cooling fan; 6) the headlamp relay. In block 2 fuse / relay installed in the dashboard, are the following components: 1) Relay rear window defroster; 2) The relay of the fan motor; 3) the blinker; 4) a timer interior lighting (on the rear of the unit). Several relays are in a separate unit 3 relays under the dashboard next to the unit 2 fuse / relay: 1) relay central locking; 2) relay central locking tailgate; 3) the starter relay; 4) The relay of a washer / rear window wiper; 5) power window switch. There are also several individually mounted relays: 1) relay 4 in the driver's door to automatically lower the window; 2) relays intermittent operation in the switch glass cleaner; 3) Relay air pump (under an air pump).
