Replacement of a protective cover of steering draft
To replace the protective cover (Tie Rod End):

- Remove the cap 1 (Fig. 7.33) to the tie rod ball joint; - Mark the position of the lock nut 2 unscrew it; - Remove the clamps 4 and 6, and a protective cover 5 with tie rod; - Remove the retaining ring; - Cover the toothed segment of tape;

- Remove the tie rod; - Install the new chateau plate; - Set the steering rod with two keys, tighten the moment 88 Nm; - Remove the tape from the toothed segment; fasten the tie rod in place; - Integrated within a protective cover grease 1161001-1; - Set the cover in place and secure new collars; - Screw the lock nut to its original position; - Install the tie rod end; - Check the wheel alignment.
