Cylinder head cover



A WARNING
All clips and clamps that when removing the cylinder head cover are damaged or cut, the assembly must be replaced with new ones.

Withdrawal
Switch off the ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the storage battery.

Remove the index 1 (see. Fig. 3.3.2), the engine oil level.
Release clamps fastening, remove the three screws and remove the engine cover (see. Fig. 3.3.2).
Install the engine oil dipstick in place.

Remove the bolts and remove the air tubes 1 and 2 (see. Fig. 3.3.4).

Remove bolts 1 and 2 (see. Fig. 3.3.34) mounting clips secondary coolant hoses and, without disconnecting hoses, take them aside.

All models
Remove the top casing of a gear belt (see. Fig. 3.3.34).

Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover (see. Fig. 3.3.43).
In sequence, return to a tightening, loosen the screws cylinder head cover (Fig. 3.3.43).

Setting
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.
If necessary, replace the gasket cylinder head cover.
Degrease, gasket cylinder head cover.
Apply a layer of sealant at the interface planes in the semi-circular surface on both sides of the cylinder head.
Install the cylinder head cover and screw bolts, tightening them by hand
In the sequence shown in Fig. 3.3.43, tighten the bolts of the cylinder head to 10 Nm.
