Mixing oils
This and similar questions are of interest to many motorists. Unfortunately, the oil can not be mixed, even if it is oil companies' world-famous ?�(Shell, Mobil, British Petroleum). Each firm produces commodity oils, adding to the whole range of oil-based additive, the chemical composition of which is kept secret. Therefore, by mixing the high quality oils same purpose, made in accordance with the existing classifications of motor oils, but technology different companies can give an oil of poor quality due to the incompatibility of additives. Oils of different firms are interchangeable on the use of such oils often indicate engine builders. But this does not mean that they can be mixed.
