The viscosity and oil grade
The factory is poured into the engine a special multigrade high quality oil, which is suitable for use in all seasons, except where cold climates.

The engine can be topped up with oil of another brand. The degree of viscosity should be selected according to the data in the figure. 2.1, 2.2. If the air temperature is only momentarily does not fit in the range shown in Figure temperatures, oil should not be replaced.

Gasoline engines And - all-weather oils with improved anti-friction properties, Brand: VW 500 00. A - multi-purpose oil with long life and increased lubricity mark VW 503 00 for gasoline engines, - Multi-purpose oil with long life and increased lubricity mark VW 503 01 for petrol turbo engines, power over 154 kW. Diesel engines And - all-weather oils with improved anti-friction properties, Brand: VW 500 00 (for diesel engines with a turbo-supercharging only in a mix with oil mark VW 505 00). - All-weather oils, grade API-CD (for diesel engines with turbo charging only when absolutely necessary for topping) - All-weather oils, Brand: VW 501 01 (for diesel engines with a turbo-supercharging only in a mix with oil mark VW 505 00). A - multi-purpose oil with long life and increased lubricity VW brand 506 00 diesel engines, except for engines with pump / nozzle.
