Jerks in steady movement
These jerks are most often caused by a malfunction of the ignition system. Diagnostics and repair needed (see. Sec. 10 "Electrical"). On the way you can try yourself the following: - Inspect the engine compartment. Switch off the ignition and check the reliability of fastening and landing all wires and connectors from the ignition coil and high-voltage wires. Start up the engine and listen for his work: the crackling in the breakdown of high voltage "on weight" faint but distinct. In complete darkness can be clearly seen in the breakdown of a spark; - Replace the spark plugs irrespective of their condition and mileage. Pay attention to the condition of the spark, if it is not correct, you may have to repair the engine or system. The specific cause jerks during steady driving with fuel-injected engine may be the failure of the throttle position sensor. Additional symptoms, confirming the fault of the sensor: - Irregular operation of the engine at idle; - Reducing the maximum power of the engine.
