Checking and topping up the hydraulic fluid in the power steering reservoir
You will need: fluid power steering, clean cloth.
NOTE The hydraulic booster tank top up only liquid DEXRON II-D or DEXRON III, recommended by the manufacturer. |
The tank is mounted on a bracket on the left side of the engine compartment near the battery. On the tank body is marked ?�MAX?� and ?�MIN?�. When warmed up to normal temperature, the engine fluid level should be about a label ?�MAX?�. When the engine is cold the fluid level must not be below a label ?�MIN?�.
NOTE Fluid level power steering, check with the engine off. |
| | 1. Unscrew the tank ... | 2. ... and add the required amount of hydraulic fluid. |
3. Turn the plug and wipe drips.
