Leveling system power steering
Bleeding (bleeding) hydraulic power-assisted steering is required after any work related to the depressurization system (replacing the pump or pipelines). An indication of the presence of air in the system is the shimming the steering wheel sharply when you try to turn it. In addition, the pump produces increased noise at the steering wheel, and the liquid in the tank is usually foamed. 1. Fill the hydraulic fluid in the power steering system (see. "Checking and topping up the hydraulic fluid in the power steering system") up to the mark "MAX". 2. Start the engine and turn the steering wheel all the way to one side. A WARNING Do not hold the steering wheel in extreme position more than 10 seconds. |
3. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the opposite side. 4. Turn the steering wheel to the middle position and stop the engine. 5. Check the fluid level in the power steering reservoir and top up if necessary.
NOTE Fluid level in the tank when the engine must be no higher than the mark "MAX", at cold - not below a label ?�MIN?�. |
6. Repeat steps 2-5 until the fluid level is in the tank stops declining.
