Engine radiator fan
Withdrawal Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the pin from the engine cooling fan and release the harness from the radiator fan shroud. If the car is equipped with an automatic transmission, disconnect the hose from the oil cooler radiator fan shroud.

Remove the cover from the engine cooling fan. Remove the clamp fastening of the fan and lift the fan from the engine. Remove the three screws and remove the fan motor.

Disconnect the fan motor connector and make sure that the radiator fan turns when voltage is applied to the contacts of the connector (Fig. 2.121). Make sure that the engine does not produce abnormal sounds. Remove the radiator fan motor relay from the relay block in the engine compartment. Make sure that when submitting additional wires to the battery voltage to the terminals "2" and "4" closes the relay contacts "1" and "3" relay. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
A WARNING Make sure that after installing the fan is not in contact with the housing and no fan rotation noise and vibration. |
