The special tool (09517-43001) remove an arm of the central bearing of an intermediate shaft (Fig. 3.69).

Special tools (09216- 21100, 09495-33100) extrude the central bearing towards the inside of the center bearing bracket, as shown in Fig. 3.70.
Check Check the intermediate shaft for damage, bending or corrosion. Check the intermediate shaft splines for wear or damage. Check the central bearing on the absence of the generation, discoloration and roughness of the raceways of the rollers.
Assembly Apply universal grease to the central bearing and an arm of the central bearing. The special tool (09495-33100) press in the center bearing bracket. Apply universal lubricant on the rear surface of the dust seal. Recommended grease - LIG-2 or Sunlight No.2. Amount: - Internal dust seal - 7-10 g; - External dust seal - 4-6 g Special tool insert external and internal dust seals so that they are flush with the edges of the center bearing bracket.
A WARNING When applying grease, make sure that it does not hit the other details. |

Special tools (09432- 33300), set the central bearing, as shown in Fig. 3.71, then press in the intermediate shaft.
