Steering transfer of cars with power steering



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Drain the power steering mechanism.

2. Remove the bolt connecting the universal joint shaft and pinion steering gear.

3. Remove the cotter pin and loosen the nuts pins of spherical hinges of tips of steering drafts in rotary fists. Puller 09568-31000 squeeze pins of spherical rod ends to the steering knuckle.

4. Temporarily disconnect the front muffler.

5. Remove the bolts between the front and rear support.

6. Remove the mounting bolts (6EA) crossmember.

7. Disconnect the pressure and return hoses from the steering gear housing.

8. Remove the crankcase bolts, and remove the steering gear steering gear with rubber feet.

Move the steering gear to the right and lift it off the crossbar.


When removing the steering gear, be careful not to damage the protective covers.

9. Remove the anti-roll bar.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the tie rod end from steering draft.

2. Blade screwdriver, remove the protective cover of the spherical rod end.

3. Remove the clamp corrugated protective cover.

4. Remove the clamp fastening corrugated protective cover.

5. Move the corrugated protective cover to the steering rod.

When replacing the corrugated protective cover, check for rust on the steering gear.

6. Remove the supply pipe from the crankcase steering transfer.
7. In slow moving rack drain the crankcase steering transfer.

8. chisel remove the lock washer mounting tie rod to the rack.

9. Remove the tie rod to the rack.

When removing the steering rod, be careful not to turn the rack.

10. Remove the lock nut securing the plug.

11. The special tool 09565- 31300, remove the plug from the base of the steering gear.

12. Remove the spring, the focus and the plug housing with the steering transmission.

13. Remove the end with two self-locking nuts.
14. Remove the dust cover.

15. pliers to remove the snap ring, remove the snap ring.

16. A hammer beat out a soft metal and the valve gear with the oil seal.

17. Blade screwdriver to turn the rack stopper clockwise until the end of the locking ring comes out of the slot in the crankcase steering transfer.

18. When the end of the retaining ring out of the housing bore of the cylinder rack, blade screwdriver to turn the rack stopper clockwise and remove the retaining ring.

Do not damage the rack.

19. Remove the rack stopper, sleeve and rack of the steering gear housing, moving them in the direction of the piston.

After removing the rack be sure to replace the O-ring side crankcase.

20. Remove the O-ring from the sleeve of the rack.

21. Remove the oil seal ring of the rack bushing.

22. The special tool 09565-21000 and a hammer, remove the ball bearing.

Be careful not to damage the cylinder valve in the crankcase steering transfer.

23. Drive out the needle bearing and the oil seal.

24. SPECIAL TOOLS 09555-21000, 09573-33100, remove the washer and reverse oil seal from the crankcase steering transfer.

Be careful not to damage the cylinder rack in the case of steering transfer.

Check the rack

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the rack teeth for damage or wear.
2. Check the contact surface of the oil seal for damage.
3. Check the rack to the absence of deflection or twisting.
4. Check O-ring for damage or wear.

5. Check the oil seal for damage or wear.

Check valve gear

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the side surface of the gear teeth for damage or wear and tear of the teeth.
2. Check the contact surface of the oil seal for damage.
3. Check o-ring for damage or wear.

4. Check the oil seal for damage or wear.

Checking Bearing

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the bearing on absence of jamming or abnormal noise during rotation.
2. Make sure there is no excessive bearing play.
3. Check the needle bearing rollers.

The rest of the test

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the cylinder crankcase steering gear for damage.
2. Check the dust cover for damage, aging and cracking.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Grease the sliding surface of the oil seal rack.

Recommended lubrication: fluid for the power steering PSF-3

2. Using special tools (09555-21000, 09573-21000, 09573-33000,09573-33100) Reinstall the washer and oil seal in the steering gear housing to the position shown in the figure.

3. Apply multipurpose grease to the entire surface of the needle bearing.

Recommended lubricant: SAE J310, NLGI ?��2

4. Attach the needle bearing on the special tool 09222-21100 and insert it into the steering gear housing until it touches the instrument housing.

5. Set the marked side of the inner oil seal in the special tool (09431-11000) and set the gear housing.
  1. Pay attention to the mounting direction of the oil seal.
  2. Use a new oil seal.

6. Coat the surface of the oil seal sleeve rack.

Recommended lubrication: fluid for the power steering PSF-3

7. Install the oil seal into the hub of the rack.

8. Grease the o-ring and, using a special tool (09431-11000) install it into the hub of the rack.

9. Grease the teeth of the rack and wrap it with tape.

Recommended lubricant: SAE J310, NLGI ?��2

Do not block the vent hole in the grease rack.

10. Place the rack in the steering gear housing. Then, install the plug and stop the rack.

11. Press the stop of the rack until the groove and turning the lock, install the snap ring.

Retaining ring should not be visible through the opening in the housing rack.

12. Apply oil and grease recommended by the valve assembly and gear and set it to the crankcase steering transfer.

  • Recommended oil: PSF-3
  • Recommended lubricant: SAE J310, NLGI ?��2

13. The special tool 09222-21100 install the ball bearing.

14. Install the valve body into the crankcase steering transfer.

15. The special tool 09432-21601 install the oil seal.

16. Install the snap ring.

17. gear, turned fully clockwise to tighten the self-locking nut.

Always use new self-locking nut.

18. Apply sealant to the threaded portion of the plug and tighten the plug to torque.

Torque: 50-70 N ??? m

19. stake the plug at two places along its circumference.

20. Install the lock washer and the tie rod and two sites stake the lock washer.

  1. Align the lock washer with the slots of the rack.
  2. Always use a new retainer.

21. Install the sleeve, and a spring emphasis in the order shown in the figure. Before installing, apply sealant to the threaded part of the stopper.

22. Place the rack in the center position and set the cover on the steering gear housing. The special tool 09565-21100 tighten the cap torque of 20-25 N ??? m. Loosen the lid 10 ?� and tighten the lock nut tightening torque.

Tightening torque: 0.6-1.3 N ??? m

23. After the adjustment, tighten the lock nut plugs.

If the adjustment can not be performed within an angle of reducing the cover, check the plug or replace it.

24. Tighten the guide tube the desired torque and set the adhesive rubber member.

25. Lubricate the corrugated protective cover and place it in the groove of steering draft.

Recommended lubricant: SAE J 310 a, NLGI ?�� 2 EP

26. Secure the collar pleated protective cover.

To mount a new corrugated protective cover must use the new clamp and clamp.

27. Check that the corrugated protective cover is not twisted.

28. Fill in the protective cover of lubricant, place it on a spherical rod end and tighten the locking ring.

Recommended lubricant: SAE J 310 a, NLGI ?�� 2 EP

29. Install the tie rods in such a way that the length of the left and right track rod was the same.

The length of the tips of steering drafts: 47.2 mm

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Place the rubber mount steering transfer so that it is aligned with the holes in the clamp bracket and steering gear.
2. Check for fluid leaks.
3. Check that the steering wheel turns smoothly.
4. Adjust the toe-in of the front wheels.
5. Install the remaining parts to the required torque.
