Power steering pump



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

When servicing the oil pump, close the generator a polyethylene film.

1. Disconnect the pressure hose from the pump.

During assembly, use the new O-ring.

2. Remove the suction strainer from the connector suction and drain the liquid in the container.

When removing the suction filter, close the generator a polyethylene film.

3. The V 6 Remove the drive belt.

4. DOHC engine, loosen the adjusting bolt tensioner and remove the drive belt.

5. Remove the mounting bolts of the oil pump and disconnect the pressure sensor connector.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the suction pipe and the O-ring from the pump.

2. Remove the back cover with gasket and studs.
3. Remove the stator ring.
4. Remove the rotor and blades.

5. Remove the front side plate.

6. Remove the inner and outer sealing ring.

7. Remove the spring.

When assembling it is necessary to use a new gasket and O-ring.

8. Remove the pulley nut and remove the spring washer.

9. Remove the pulley and the woodruff key.

10. Using special pliers, remove the retaining ring.

11. Squeeze pulley shaft bearing. If necessary, use a nylon hammer.

12. Remove the oil sealing ring of the pump housing.

When assembling it is necessary to use a new oil sealing ring.

13. Remove the plug from the oil pump body and remove the spring and choke.
14. Remove O-ring from the socket.

Do not disassemble the throttle.

15. Remove the oil pump switch.
16. Remove the spring and coil.

17. Remove the O-ring from the oil pump switch.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clean all pump parts with an appropriate solvent.
2. If there are any damaged parts of the pump, replace the pump assembly.
3. If the pulley is damaged or deformed, replace it.
4. If there is fluid leakage around the O-ring, replace it.
5. If damaged or worn, or pulley shaft splines, replace the affected parts.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn the oil pump.
2. Establish a spring throttle valve and plug in the pump casing.

Grease with a thin layer of Power Steering Fluid All replaced parts, including the oil seal and O-ring.


The special tool 09222-32100 3. Install the oil seal into the pump housing.

4. Gently insert the shaft assembly and install the retaining ring.

5. Install pump pulley with the woodruff key.

6. Install the spring and the inner and outer sealing ring.

7. Install the front side plate.

8. Insert the pins into the recesses of the front housing, then install the cam ring, paying attention to the direction of installation.

9. Set the rotor so that the marks on the rotor located on the side opposite the front of the housing.

10. Install the blade rounded part outwards.

11. Install the gasket and the rear cover.
12. Tighten the suction connector.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Place the pump in the pump bracket.
2. Place the suction filter.
3. Install the V-ribbed belt and adjust its tension.
4. Connect the pressure hose to the pump and the suction filter tank.

Set the hoses so that they are not twisted and not come into contact with any other parts.

5. Pour the liquid.

Recommended fluid: PSF-3

6. Bleed the hydraulic power steering.
7. Check the pressure created by the pump.
8. Install the remaining parts to the required torque.
