Fuse Memory
The car is equipped with a fuse Memory, excluding the discharge of the battery when the vehicle is not to be used for one or more months. Before long parking area, follow the steps on the following procedure. | PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. Turn off the engine. | | 2. Turn off the headlights and tail lights. | | 3. Open the main fuse box in the engine compartment and first remove the fuse "ROOM 15A". This changes the mode "MEMORY", which eliminates the discharge of the battery. |

A warning  If you are removing the fuse from the fuse box Memory radio and room lamp will not function.
After installing Memory fuse in its place you must re-enter the secret code to perform audio and tuning frequency. Removing Memory Guard does not prevent discharge of the battery caused by the operation of lights and other electrical appliances with the engine off.
If some of the lights of the car, its equipment or controls do not work, check the fuse corresponding to the electrical circuit. If the fuse is blown, the element inside the fuse will be melted. Always replace a blown fuse with one that is designed for the same amount of current. If newly installed fuse blows again, it means that there is a problem in the electrical network. Try not to use the system in which it is assumed the fault and immediately consult the issue with the authorized dealer of KIA.
Two kinds of fuses are used: standard for low value for the main current and high current.
