Replacing the engine management sensors

Replacing the engine management sensors
TDC sensor and the engine speed is set on top of the clutch housing near the clutch slave cylinder.
If a fault occurs in the chain of the crankshaft position sensor engine stops working, the controller memorizes the fault code and warning light in the instrument cluster. In this case, check the sensor and the ring gear to the absence of teeth, beating or other damage.
You will need to face head "10".
1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?-? the storage battery.

2. Remove the air duct (see. "Removing and installing the air filter").
3. Squeeze the clamp and disconnect the sensor wiring harness connector.

5. ... and remove the gauge.
6. Set the TDC sensor and a rotational speed of the crankshaft in the reverse order of removal.

Camshaft sensor (phase detector) inlet valves mounted in the rear of the cylinder head on the right side of the engine.
You will need a key "10".
1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?-? the storage battery.

4. ... and remove the camshaft position sensor.
5. Remove the rubber sealing ring. Strong compression, torn or lost elasticity replace with a new ring.
6. Install the parts in reverse order of removal.

The throttle position sensor is a variable resistor ...

... which is mounted on the axis of the throttle. The rotation axis of the damper causes a change in voltage from the sensor, wherein the controller determines the degree of throttle opening.
In case of violation of the engine at idle or deterioration accelerating dynamics, check the sensor and its connector.
You will need a screwdriver with a flat blade or Phillips.
1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?-? the storage battery.

The coolant temperature sensor is installed in an end face of the cylinder head ...

... from the 4th cylinder.
The sensor is a thermistor with a negative temperature coefficient: the electrical resistance of the sensor decreases with increasing temperature. The controller processes the sensor signal and sets the optimum leaner mixture when the engine is warming up.
You will need: the key "21", flat-blade screwdriver tester, thermometer.
1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?-? the storage battery.
2. Drain the coolant (see. "Replacing the coolant").
3. Press the lock with a screwdriver and remove the connector harness from the coolant temperature sensor.
4. The key loosen and then remove the sensor by hand.
5. Install the parts in reverse order of removal.
6. Fill up with coolant.

Intake air temperature sensor is installed on the intake pipe near the throttle assembly. The sensor is a thermistor with a negative temperature coefficient: the electrical resistance of the sensor decreases with increasing temperature. Information on air temperature from the sensor controller controls the fuel injection amount.
You will need to face head "10".
1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?-? the storage battery.

Knock sensor attached to the cylinder block between the second and the third cylinder from the right side of the cylinder block, detects abnormal vibration (detonation shock) in the engine.
To replace the sensor, you will need a key "12".
1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?-? the storage battery.

2. Remove the decorative motor cover (see. "Removing and installing decorative casing of the engine").
3. Squeeze the clamp and disconnect the sensor wiring harness connector.

An oxygen concentration sensor mounted on the receiving pipe. The sensor measures the oxygen content in the exhaust gas and converts the measured value into a voltage signal, which is fed to an electronic engine control unit. Using signals from the sensor, the controller controls fuel injection so as to obtain the estimated air-fuel ratio.
If the oxygen concentration sensor is faulty, exhaust emissions could rise sharply.
Work on replacing the sensor is more convenient to carry out on the lift or pit.
You will need a key "22".
1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?-? the storage battery.
2. Disconnect the harness connector of the sensor of oxygen concentration.

The vehicle speed sensor 1 is mounted on the gearbox near the oil level indicator (oil dipstick) 2 gearbox and a Hall sensor. The sensor supplies to the electronic engine control unit a pulse signal proportional to the rotational speed of the drive wheels.
